Kellie’s story: Starting a social enterprise

Find out how Kellie Stanbury took time out from a high-flying travel career to move to Fiji with her family, and started a social enterprise supporting local farmers and communities. Kellie is the founding director of Three Hundred Islands.

The idea of packing up your city life and moving to Fiji sounds pretty idyllic, but what’s it really like to move to a small Pacific island, away from family, friends and work?

The move presented a unique opportunity to follow a long-held dream… and it ended up being the start of a very exciting new chapter in her career.

In this episode, Kellie talks about her career in the travel industry, the practical steps of moving your family to Fiji (with a dog!), studying an MBA remotely from her island home and launching a social enterprise from her kitchen.
